The design came from browsing Pinterest and finding that most robots have a very clean, friendly vibe to them. Relating this back to the theme of our game, I decided I'd create a heavy contrast between these wholesome, supportive robots and weaponized robots that'd cause society to collapse and cause the extinction of humanity. These two particular images had the most influence on my concept:
