Project HIRO Storyboard - Group Discussions

I presented some of the key vignettes of my storyboard to my group this week with hopes they'd be able to assist me in making any key changes to my storyboard before beginning production on the opening animation. Their two main criticisms are how it lacked style and could be helped if I looked for inspiration in art movements, as well as how I should go about formatting this animated short.

Admittedly I was nervous reaching out and asking my group, that their criticism would be more destructive and condescending, but they were actually very critical, constructive and conscientious when giving me pointers and advise.

Regarding those styles I've been told to implement, I decided I'd seize the opportunity to work some Vorticism into our Opening, as well as Surrealism which was the main influence behind many comics and graphic novels, which is the style I wanna go for.

I've decided to give my storyboard one last revision before declaring it done, touching up both on the style and framing of each shot, as well as the descriptions and tips I've given myself about how each shot should transition to the next!
